Betty Suther, CSJ | Administrator holds master’s degrees in both Administration (Kansas State University) and Christian Spirituality (Creighton University, Omaha). Betty is a certified and experienced spiritual director and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) consultant. She is a quilting artist and facilitates retreats and workshops for beginners and experienced quilters.
Janet Lander, CSJ | Facilitator received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Education (Mount St. Mary’s College — Los Angeles) and a master’s in Pastoral Ministry and post-master’s certificate in the Practice of Spirituality (Boston College). Her Manna House ministry includes giving retreats and workshops, facilitating assemblies and chapters for religious communities and serving as a Spiritual Director.
Marcia Allen, CSJ | Facilitator holds a bachelor’s degree in History and French and a master’s in Administration (Kansas State University), and a doctorate in Ministry in Spirituality (Graduate Theological Foundation). She is the past president of the Sisters of St. Joseph and is an experienced facilitator for workshops and retreats.
Pat Eichner, CSJ | Staff holds an associate degree in Soil and Water Management, a bachelor’s in Religious Studies and a master’s in Business Administration. She is currently studying to be certified as a spiritual director. She has also worked extensively with youth and is a part of the vocations team for the Sisters of St. Joseph of Concordia.
Jean Ann Walton, CSJ | Staff holds a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Secondary Art Education (Wichita State University). She directs art journaling and quilting retreats, is the librarian for both the Motherhouse and Manna House and assists in the Congregational Archives. Jean Ann is currently a mentor for the Sisters of St. Joseph’s Candidate Program.
Mary Jo Thummel, CSJ, | Staff a Sister of St. Joseph of Concordia, has worked as an educator, Parish Life Coordinator and Pastoral Associate. She holds a B.A. in Theology from Marymount College, an M.A. in Spirituality from Creighton University in Omaha, NE and a Certificate in Pastoral Ministry from St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO. She serves on the Leadership Team of her Congregation and does spiritual direction.
Christina Brodie, CSJ | Staff a Sister of St. Joseph of Concordia. She is a member of the Manna House Staff. She has been the Director of Hands Across, a program designed to help families who are struggling financially but who are determined to become self-sufficient, since February 2013. In Christina’s free time she loves to cook authentic Italian cuisine.
Gilla Dubé, CSJ | Staff a Sister of St. Joseph of Concordia. She holds a master’s degree in counseling (University of New Hampshire), a master’s degree in theological studies (Weston Jesuit School of Theology-Cambridge, Mass.) and a certificate in geriatric spiritual care (Avila Institute of Gerentology). She ministered in the fields of mental health and substance abuse for several decades prior to serving in elected leadership with the Sisters of St. Joseph of Lyon in Maine for 18 years.
